Before I start writing about the website and what's init for us I wanted to apologize for sharing this post to all of you.
Now that I have apologized lets start talking about the website.
Khan Academy is an initiative meant for students, teachers, parents and coaches. It caters to every one's needs who is intrested to learn, intrested to teach and intrested to share their knowledge with the world and guess what everything which I have written above is free.

In Short KhanAcademy is website full of video tutorials and everything is available for free. This initiative is main focus is defined by their tag line -

" We're a not-for-profit with the goal of changing education for the better by providing a free world-class education to anyone anywhere "

Now What is the length and breadth of topics covered on the website ?
Before answering this question let me tell you that the website is getting updated daily with loads of material on different topics. Now, Below list contails the various topics the site has to offer.

They have got loads of videos covering each and every topic.  If you a student you can select a learning plan for you where you can watch videos and then practise problems also you can take an assesment.
In short its a complete learning tool which allows you track how your child is progressing, what are his weak areas, where he needs to stress more.
If you don't want to write any assesments and just watch videos you can just watch videos.
In the end its a complete package :P Which is still not complete. It has good very lectures from good professors. The lectures are simple to understand and yet they are profound.
