How to Transfer HP LPG Gas connection from one agency to another

I wish you all a very happy friendship day!!
Without further due lets get into the article.

Guys,
Recently a friend of mine had to shift his home from place A to place B.
obviously, he wanted to transfer the LPG gas connection as well.

So, Below are the sequence of steps we had followed to get his gas connection transferred.

List of document(s) to keep handy:

  1. Two sets of XEROX copies of your GAS connection document
  2. Two sets of XEROX copies of your AADHAR card
  3. One copy of Proof of address of your new address
  4. One passport size photograph

Procedure to be followed at your old agency:
  1. GOTO your old gas agency. 
  2. Tell them that you are relocating and that you want to transfer the GAS connection to nearest GAS agency available at your new address.
  3. Provide them your new address PIN code. Using this they would find out the nearest GAS agency. They would extract the dealership code of the new GAS agency.
  4. They would request you to provide one XEROX copy of your Connection document & AADHAR card each.
  5. Upon the receipt of the document, they would transfer the connection to the new agency and give you a document/letter which you have to submit at your new gas agency.

    Procedure to be followed at your new agency:
    1. Take a XEROX copy of the transfer letter provided by the old agency for your safe keeping purpose.
    2. Now, go to the new agency with the letter they have provided along with the set of documents provided above.
    3. At the new agency, submit the following:
      1. Letter provided by the old agency
      2. XEROX copy of the HP Connection
      3. XEROX copy of the AADHAR card
      4. Passport size photo
      5. XEROX copy of the proof of address of the new address.
    4. The new agency, upon receipt of above documents will give you the GAS passbook and new connection/consumer number, which you can use to book the GAS refills. 
    5. These new refills will be serviced by your new agency.
    6. Please note that you need to use the new connection number provided by the AGENCY to book any future refills.
